SAP XML Interface
REIMS provides an accredited SAP CA-XML interface enabling your organisation to harness the XML functionality within SAP R/3 4.6 or above, extending the reach of your business processes and integration over the Internet. For those organisations running previous versions of SAP, implementing REIMS Extranet Server still enables your organisation to deploy XML to improve business communications with your trading partners.

The REIMS EAI module connects via TCP/IP to both SAP Business Connector and REIMS Extranet Server, using W3C XML Schemas as the XML document structure. This accredited interface includes the secure communication of XML over the Internet (SSL using HTTPS) and supports both client and server processing.

SAP ALE Converter and Message Handler
REIMS provides an accredited SAP ALE Converter/Message Handler, transferring files between your SAP system and REIMS Extranet Server. CA-ALE delivers a routing mechanism, allowing interfacing to other SAP systems, if appropriate, via an SAP gateway. The Converter/Message Handler can run in both client and server modes, supporting transactional processing of IDocs with R/3.

SAP EDI Interface
REIMS provides an accredited SAP EDI interface (SAP CA-EDI certificate), enabling the seamless, fully automated interchange of data between your SAP system and your trading partners.

Outbound data downloaded from the SAP system in an IDoc format is converted by REIMS into an appropriate format and transmitted to your trading partners. Inbound data is converted into an IDoc format by REIMS and uploaded to SAP. REIMS enables the end-to-end automation of these processes, including the generation of status records.
